HCIS
Hillside Collegiate is an international education brand with 40 campuses across South Korea, offering a kindergarten program for children ages 5–7 called “Hillside Collegiate Junior” and a Grade 1–12 program called HCIS.
“Hillside Collegiate Junior” provides a globally certified curriculum taught entirely in English by native English-speaking teachers, focusing on effective English acquisition and holistic education through creative integration, project-based learning, and individualized instruction.

Welcome to HCIS Sokcho – SIS Canada Inc., located in Sokcho, South Korea. HCIS Sokcho is committed to preparing students for success in international and global learning environments through high-quality English education based on an American-style curriculum.
Our programs focus on Academic English, critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning skills essential for international school readiness and overseas relocation. Through engaging, student-centered instruction, students develop confidence in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening as they participate in meaningful cross-curricular learning experiences. We also support students through systematic academic records and progress evaluations aligned with U.S. academic standards.
Our KG Program emphasizes Theme-Based Learning and project-driven activities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and natural English acquisition in a joyful and supportive environment.
At HCIS Sokcho, we are committed to nurturing confident, curious, and capable learners who are prepared for future academic success around the world. We warmly welcome both Korean and international families to join our learning community.

Accreditation
Hillside Collegiate has been fully accredited as a global standard educational institution by the U.S.
Our educational institution has been accredited as a global standard by three prestigious organizations: U.S. Ai (Accreditation International), NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation), and MSA-CESS (Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools).
AI assures the educational quality of schools and plans for continuous school improvement to increase student learning, by recognizing that Accreditation in Education is for Quality Assurance, Continuous Planning, and Education Development for Students, Parents, and Nations. Accredited schools receive both national and international accreditation.
National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA),
a US based international accreditation agency dedicated to accrediting private schools nationally and internationally, in addition NCPSA also accredits 17 external accrediting agencies.
MSA-CESS is a worldwide leader in accreditation and school improvement. With over 125 years of operation, MSA-CESS has been helping school establish and reach their goals, develop strategic plans, promote staff development and advance student achievement.
